Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Krystle Williams, a Writer, a Dreamer, a Humanitarian, and Founder of B Dulce.
Please tell us about your journey.
I love to travel to different countries to do volunteer work. Well, that was before the pandemic hit.
One day I started thinking about the familial results of the pandemic. I thought about moms and dads who now must work from home and spouses who once saw each other in passing on their way to work now having to deal with each other on a consistent basis. Those thoughts made me think of my own life, my own relationship, and I was startled. I was startled because seeing so many couples face this new reality has made some couples want to end their relationships because they find they do not know each other anymore. I started processing how revolutionary it is that people were beginning to face themselves and the roles they play within their relationships. I began to fantasize as a new fiancée, the type of wife I wanted to be. These thoughts led me to realize I can be a sultry vixen, best friend, and lover to my husband. I begin to desire these things not only for myself but for all women in relationships.
My desire inspired me to create an exclusive line of beauty and lingerie products for women who may feel overwhelmed by their new forced adaptations. It was then that the concept of “B Dulce – Mood of a Woman” was born. It is a gentle reminder to “be sweet.” I found designers’ work that represented the B Dulce Woman and made it into a collection of moods. The moods are characterized by the feminine names that I feel they embody.
Please tell us more about your brand, B Dulce.
As the Founder of B Dulce, I would like to highlight our vision is to create a tribe of women who are committed to showing up as their authentic selves while remaining open to creating and nurturing an environment of possibilities everywhere they are. This is inclusive of reinventing one’s self from the unadventurous to the naughty wife or being more mindful in how one may speak to her children, deal with her children or pet. It is also inclusive of investing in one’s self, coupled with inner reflection and outer work to produce something better than was there before. This is B Dulce. You can be a B Dulce woman, also.
