Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Riddhi Deorah, a Parenting Expert and Influencer. She is the Founder and CEO of Easy Parenting Hub and on a mission to help 100,000 parents live a happy, holistic, and spiritual life.
Can you please tell us more about your journey?
I was born and brought up in Kolkata. I got a master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science, UK, and the University of Cambridge, UK.
I started my own exclusive online knitwear apparel brand in 2013 and sold to more than 5,00,000 clients in just two years. Then, I got married in 2015 and shifted base to Gurgaon. I worked with a start-up called Roposo for six months. I then started my own designer fashion apparel brand exclusively for women called Riddhi & Revika in 2015.
I am the mother of an amazing son. I started writing and sharing content on parenting in 2017.
A true believer in karma and grounded in spirituality.
What inspired you to start ‘Easy Parenting Hub’?
One message, yes! one message is all you need to change your life. I am so grateful that I received this message.
In June 2018, I was in a meeting on Buddhism. The topic for the meeting was “The importance of sharing our experience with others.” Throughout the meeting, I kept thinking about sharing my experience as a mother with all other mothers going through a similar journey. I had no idea where to start and how to start.
But it’s truly said that when you really want something, the universe conspires to help you. That’s what happened to me.
I told my husband how much I wished to share my experience with other mothers. He instantly encouraged me to do it through Instagram. I was very hesitant at first because I didn’t want to make my profile public. I am a very shy person, which is why I didn’t feel that being an Instagram blogger was something I’d be able to do.
We turned this into a bet, which today put my life on an entirely different path.
According to the bet, I had to make my profile public for a night, and if I got more than 500 new people to follow me, then I would have to keep it public. I was quite sure that I would lose this bet so, I went ahead with it.
The next day when I woke up, I was shocked. I had almost 800 more followers now. I still haven’t seen such a jump in a day. I believe that I attracted this into my life by constantly thinking of a way to share my experience with others.
I lost the bet, and now here I was sharing my experiences as a mother. I was so happy to see mothers reach out to me, saying how they resonated with what I was sharing. I believe that people can see through you. If you are authentic, honest, and have a helpful attitude, people will get attracted to your energy.
You will see your group growing beautifully right before you. That’s what I believe happened to me. It was just the start of my journey, and from just sharing experiences not too long ago, I now build parenting courses on mindful parenting, active parenting, hero method of communicating with your child, easy stress management, phonics, and so many other topics.
The journey has indeed been beautiful. But it is just the beginning, and I need you to be with me till the end. I want it to be a community of lifelong learners who make parenting a happy and enriching experience.
Please tell us about your company’ Easy Parenting Hub.’
I am the Founder and CEO of Easy Parenting Hub. I had conducted a survey and asked a lot of parents what their biggest parenting challenge was. Based on their responses, I created parenting products to address these issues. Some products include Phonics, Audio Video Flashcards, Easy Parenting Formula, Easy Stress Management, etc.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I feel that when you are honest, authentic, and love what you do, you will always find people who will resonate with your philosophy.
My influence is completely driven by my personal experiences as a mother. I share about my moments with my son, my challenges as a mother, and also about what I learned from the varied experiences. Since everything that I share is something that has happened to me, there are always other mothers who have had a similar experience. This enables mothers to resonate with what I say, and it feels amazing when mothers come up to me and tell me how they have benefitted from my story.
Small stories are very powerful and have an everlasting impact on our lives. I feel that parents need to work on their mindset and attitude before they start to work on their children. This is what I mostly focus on. If parents can master their own minds, then parenting becomes a smooth journey.
I feel that this never-ending desire to help and serve parents has brought me so far. However, this is just the beginning, and I still have a long way to go.

Parenting is not a set of rules that you can follow to achieve a pre-determined goal. Parenting is about building a beautiful relationship with our little ones and raising them into happy, responsible individuals. Parenting is becoming more and more complex with the ever-changing environment in which we are bringing up our children. Parenting used to be just a new relationship. However, now it has become a challenge of sorts and also a cause of anxiety for so many young parents. Parenting should be an easy, enriching experience that adds joy and not stress to our lives.
