Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Malik Cox, the founder of Gold Beards. Gold Beards is a beard oil company based in New Jersey.
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey.
Frustrated with all the chemicals and fillers that were being put in the store brought beard oil, I decided to blend my own. I wanted something that was 100% all-natural and 100% organic that I could trust to help my beard grow, and that’s how Gold Beards was created.
I started sampling blends a few years ago and giving out samples to family and friends. After an overwhelming response and everyone kept asking me to make more for them, I decided to share the fruits of my labor and create a beard growth product for everyone to use.
What inspires you?
What really inspires me is hearing such positive feedback and seeing how others are responding to my product. Something that started out as a little hobby I created for myself because I was so frustrated that my skin kept breaking out with the other brands I was trying to end up being loved by the masses.

I am the CEO of Gold Beards Growth oil. Our products are crafted with clean, no-fuss all-natural ingredients leaving both your skin and beard happy and healthy.

What’s your greatest fear?
My biggest fear is not being the number one beard oil growth product on the market. I truly believe I have the best product on the market right now and I plan on to keep pushing until Gold Beards is #1. We are in the process of creating a line of beard combs brushes and balms in the near future to round out our brand.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
The thing I wish I understood better before I ever got started is what most men were looking for in a beard growth oil. I literally interviewed and spoke with more than 50 men with beards just to hear their thoughts and opinions on beard growth and ingredients they looked for in oil.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The strategies that helped me become successful in my journey is just being patient. Just being patient and making sure I crossed all my t’s and dotted the I’s and not rush the product to the market.
I wanted to make sure I had it right, so I went back to the drawing board a dozen or so times until I got the perfect blend.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
What keeps me going when things get tough is I would have to say my vision. I understand it’s not going to happen overnight. Also, just hearing the great reviews and seeing all the repeat customers come back shows me that it’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and I have a great product that the world will love.

Yes, I would say to the readers go get yourself some Gold Beards. If you are a woman, grab a bottle for your husband, boyfriend, brother, or dad, they will love it.
