Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Veronica Jones, a massage therapist and personal trainer in the DMV area, who also creates herbal infused hair and skin products.
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey.
My company is Black Dymond Naturals LLC. I started making my own soaps and body butter due to skin allergies. It seems the older we become, the more our bodies change. Commercial products I used as a child gave me serious irritations.
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work?
Instagram and Facebook have been good to me. However, I really want to broaden my customer base.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
I don’t look back and have no regrets. My goals are always looking to the future.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Successful strategies that help me are to get into a routine. 1000% dedication and passion Must go into what you want to accomplish. This is with anything you do in life. I focus, plant my seeds, and manifest my desires.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
When things get a little tough, I slow down, take a breather, pray, meditate. Lift weights, listen to music. Everything must be balanced. Send out positive energies to the Universe, and I receive that positive energy back tenfold.
