How one man is inspiring millions to turn Vegan – Lets hear the story of Robert Van De Ville

Today, we are interviewing Robert Van De Ville, he is a professional nutritionist specializing in veganism. He attained a degree in nutrition from California State University and now contributes his articles to online magazines and vegan websites. He is currently 52 years old and has had experience in practicing nutrition.

1. How did you get into what you do now? Please tell us more about your journey…

My veganism journey started shortly after I enrolled for my bachelor’s degree in nutrition. I always had a desire to indulge in healthy diets, which led me to conduct extensive research on the same. That is when I came across information concerning the renowned Vegan Society.

I developed a strong interest in the vegan lifestyle that was completely free from animal products. I learned that vegan diets are actually beneficial to people, animals, and the environment at large. I have never turned back on my decision to go vegan ever since that realization.

2. Who are your role models?

Vegan

My number one role model is Donald Watson, who is the guru of veganism. Born and raised in Mexborough, South Yorkshire, Watson spent time on the farm of his uncle George. The screams of one pig during the process of slaughter caught Watson’s attention in a way he never forgot.

Watson became a vegetarian from that day henceforth and described the animal slaughter as a death row for animals. He even went on to form an organization that he and his wife Dorothy named as the Vegan Society. Watson testified that his greatest achievement was starting a new revolutionary movement that would lengthen human survival on this planet.

I also look up to Paul McCartney, who is a music legend based in England. McCartney has spent years campaigning for veganism and has released an impactful documentary on basic principles for a vegan lifestyle.

3. What inspires you?

My view of vegan diets as healthy and wholesome diets fills me with the urge to propagate veganism. Vegan diets are absolutely low in cholesterol and high in fiber and vitamins. Moreover, with professional consultation, vegan diets have nutrients that meet all dietary needs.

The pursuit of knowledge by people concerning veganism also challenges me to quench their thirst for information. Enlightening people on the advantages of veganism to humans, animals, and the environment is a major source of inspiration.

For the animals, veganism prevents their unnecessary exploitation and allows for animal liberation. Refraining from animal products paves the way to taking a stand against all forms of animal cruelty.

Go-Vegan-now

For the overall health of human beings, well-planned vegan diets are suitable for all ages and stages of life. In fact, research has linked vegan diets with combating type 2 diabetes as well as some types of cancer. Lower heart disease rates have also been achieved through vegan diets.

Veganism also helps in environmental conservation by preserving vast pieces of land from deforestation in an effort to support livestock. Such avoidable deforestation is aimed at growing feed on which cattle can graze on.

4. Please tell us about your company…

My company’s name is VeganClue.com. The company supplies information about veganism to curious people researching this interesting way of life. The in-depth information provided by my company allows researchers to make connections that unite the vegan lifestyle.

5. What’s your most memorable experience?

The memory lane down my pursuit of healthy diets shortly after joining California State University is still very vivid. The experience of finally arriving at veganism as the answer to my quest was mind-opening and unforgettable.

6. How are you using different social media channels to market your work?

I reach the younger target market for my work through certain social media platforms such as Facebook and Pinterest. Other channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Yelp allow me to post professional content concerning my company’s objectives and achievements. I also make great use of Instagram and YouTube to market my work in an audio-visual manner.

7. What’s your greatest fear?

Malnutrition has been a reason for great distress to me over a long time. Lacking proper nutrition as a result of insufficient food or inadequate dietary nutrients is very unfortunate. Poor diets are actually the leading cause of malnutrition.

8. Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better getting started?

I wish I had stumbled upon the knowledge on veganism way before I joined campus. That way, I would have benefited from the perks of veganism in the younger years of my life. Nevertheless, I have purposed to avail such vital information to anyone in the position that I was in back then.

9. What are the success strategies that helped you in your journey?

I maintained an open mind in my quest for healthy diets and based my conclusions on facts concerning veganism. That way, I was able to look into popular stereotypes and myths about animal meat diets.

I also developed an interest in animal welfare, which led me to be a passionate animal activist. That relentless interest is actually the reason for the book I’m currently writing about animal liberation and the benefits of veganism.

10. What keeps you going when things get tough?

I draw motivation from nature when things seem not to be working out well. A purposeful leisure walk keeps me in touch with the amazing crops that the land has to offer for human consumption. It also rekindles my hope for sustainable worldwide veganism.
