Relationships will be tested with the Ultimate Relationship Game DontBuyIt – says Suni Strong, Co-Founder…

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Suni Strong, co-founder of the card game DontBuyIt – Ultimate Relationship Game.

Please tell us about what it is that you do.

I am a former Bounty Hunter. I also formerly Worked for Space X building rockets. Currently, I am working at Lockheed Martin building defense for the future.

DontBuyIt

Please tell us about your journey.

Me and my best friend and business partner Ryan Dixon knew from a young age, we wanted a better life for ourselves. Almost every job I’ve had, or he’s had, we’ve worked together and helped build ourselves up. I got him into bounty hunting, and he got me into aerospace hence why we have such diverse backgrounds. Although I love chasing the bad guys, and as much as we love building rockets and planes, I had an interesting turn of events when I hit Lakers half-court shot for 100k grand.

At that moment, we realized What we really wanted was to own our own business, travel, and do things our way. And while we did travel, we also came up with the craziest card game on earth called DontBuyIt game.

Please tell us about your game’ DontBuyIt.’

DontBuyIt game is the card game company Ryan, and I created.

We are the CEOs. The game is similar to the Newlywed game; it will help you get to know your partner. Whether you are a new couple or even if you have been together for years.

But there is a huge twist. If you don’t know your partner as well as you think and you get a knowledge card wrong, you have to draw from the action deck and do actions like hand over your phone unlocked for 45 seconds so your partner can snoop, etc. You can say no to any action and get a strike. Two strikes and you are out.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Determination and the drive to keep going.

While bounty hunting, Ryan and me were cast on a TV show called Akil the fugitive hunter. It aired on A&E. The show had a great rating. But it was canceled due to differences between the production company and A&E. So even though Ryan and I worked our asses off, we were let go, and the show was canceled. We were so ready for the world to see who we were and how hard we worked, but it didn’t come to fruition. So that’s the day after the show was canceled, we decided no matter what, to put our success in our hands.

Any message for our readers.

My advice is, it’s OK to work 9 to 5 but keep your dreams alive, don’t become a corporate drone. I think that having drive, determination and a dream is a key to happiness.
