Today, we are interviewing Mr. Bryant Ugonna Iriele, Founder/CEO of Lykos Gonna fashion label. Leveraging on the fashion influences of his immediate family, his community, and African roots, Mr. Bryant launched the Lykosgonna fashion label in January 2017. Since that time, the brand has grown, from his local community to a global brand with representatives, partners, and businesses spread across several continents. Famous high-end street wears Lykos Gonna, recently released a new catalog of merch for the year 2020.
1. Please tell us something about yourself.
I graduated with a bachelor's in Industrial and management system engineering at West Virginia University. After which I went to work for my dad in the medical field, why working for my dad, I was able to create out time outside my office hours to work on my craft which is fashion. I also like the fast pace of technology in our daily lives. For me to move forward in life, I’m open to new ideas and always looking to see what skills I can acquire and grow.
2. How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?
I have always had a strong desire for fashion from a young age, and I believe what you wear reflects who you are as a person. So, when I choose my outfit, I make sure it’s an outfit I can feel very comfortable wearing.
3. Who are your role models?
I like brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, off-white, Prada; their style of creativity always inspires me.
4. What inspires you?
Being in a happy state of mind and my family, I come from a family that’s shown support to each other in whatever way they can. I believe one can achieve whatever goals they set to succeed if they go after it and believe in themselves. I have come to realize that being patient is one of the keys to success. When your patient, you’re more likely to take on the right steps to achieve success.

Not being prepared, I try my best to brush up on all my skills as much as I can.
8. Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
How to seek help from people who are in the industries I’m looking to be a part of. And learning from them. What their journey has been.
9. What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Sharing my obstacles. A problem half shared is a problem half solved.
10. What keeps you going when things get tough?
My goals, staying true to my goals. Looking back on why I started. Understanding it’s a process. Measuring my present success rate and my beginning stage.
