Dianne Scott – Famous Actress & Model

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Dianne Scott, an actress, model, stepmom, author, and pit bull advocate, to name just a few!

Hi Dianne, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about your journey.

I started modeling in my twenties, but my lifelong dream and goal was to be an actress. After a decade of a successful modeling career, I decided it was time to get my stuff together and go after my true passion. Modeling was fabulous and fun, and I’m VERY grateful for all the opportunities I had and brands I worked with, but I was made for more than sitting or standing pretty. I have far too much to say and share! After several years of rejection, almost “making it,” numerous agents and managers, tears, and sweat, I finally started making headway. I look back now, and I can see that all my hardships, ups-and-downs, and dismissals were working together for my good, to protect me and also help me become who I am today.

Would you please share your story with us?

Being an artist is ever-evolving. You can never expect the exciting places your journey will lead you, especially if you’re following your intuition. In 2012, I adopted my first dog as an adult. He was a pit bull. I’d always believed that pit bulls were inherently dangerous, and all the nonsense the media had somehow implanted into my brain about them. Fortunately, my husband set me straight about these myths. I fell instantly in love with this dog and became a huge pit bull advocate. My newly found passion for being a voice for this breed turned into a giant platform on social media, a part in a movie, becoming an author to a five-part children’s book series, and multiple opportunities to meet people I admire and being on shows I’ve always respected.

What’s your most memorable experience?

Being on set with Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and Jay Mohr, all at once. Talk about achieving comedic nirvana, ha!

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever giving up. Getting crystal clear on my goals and vision. Praying. Staying humble. Constantly working on and perfecting my craft. Learning the difference between my ego and my higher self. Following my intuition. Meditating. Visualizing. Exercising. To never stop learning, growing, and expanding.

Any message for our readers.

If you have a passion or desire in your heart, it’s not there by accident. It’s directly linked to your purpose in some way. Can’t stop thinking about it? Pursue it. Master it. And no desire or passion is too small or insignificant. Your intuition and your heart know exactly how to lead you to your end goal, so follow them, even when you don’t understand where they’re taking you. Last, whatever you do: do the things that scare you! Doing the things that scare you can help quantum leap you to your dream. If you’re reading this: this is your sign. Did your heart just flutter a bit? Yes, this is definitely for you. Go do it. Go get it.

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?
