Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Nathan Moore, Author of the recently published book ‘FEAR NOT.’
Please tell us about your journey.
The creation of this book came from what people call “work talk.” A co-worker at the time that has become like family was telling me how ambitious I was. And, that I have so much valuable information, and how all this information would be good in a book! I thought to myself, saying that isn’t a bad idea. It wasn’t hard for me, considering I love to write. So I took on the challenge of writing a book, and believe me, you have to have SO much motivation to write! So few days to a week later of that conversation, I decided to sit down and write. Everything just started to flow once I started; it felt like I couldn’t stop. It took me a year and a half to finish writing the book and another year or two to get it published.
Please tell us about your book, ‘FEAR NOT.’
This book is about fears, overcoming them, and the reward once you get past your fears.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
So again, for writing, you need motivation, and it’s very easy to get distracted. With that being said, I had to be disciplined. I set up a system to help me stay in tune with the writing. I set reminders at certain times informing me that I needed to write. So, when those reminders would go off, I would put my phone on do not disturb, and write for about an hour or two. I also had music playing to help me think and concentrate.
