Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Author Melanie Channell, a Numerologist, Tarot Reader, Energy Healer, and Spiritual Teacher.
Hi, Please tell us about what it is that you do.
My business name is Heart Works. I am based out of Sacramento, California. I teach healing classes, meditation, numerology, tarot, and psychic development. I participate as a vendor in psychic and healing fairs across northern California. I am a co-organizer for the Psychic Enhancement Meetup Group in Sacramento. I’ve been working in the metaphysical field for over 20 years.
Can you please tell us more about your journey?
When I was a young girl, I knew when certain events were going to happen; I was also very sensitive to other people’s feelings. When I would tell my parents about these events, they would dismiss my accounts, telling me they were just my overactive imagination. This eventually tore down my belief in my spiritual gifts. After many years and twists and turns, I finally found my true calling when I attended a leadership retreat and saw my grandmother come through a woman there. It was as if a light switched on inside me. That was the start of my journey to becoming an intuitive reader and energy healer. That was the day I discovered my life purpose and my passion for helping others heal and grow into their own gifts.
Please tell us about your book, ‘The Numbers Speak: A Journey of Healing and Guidance Through Numbers.’
My new book, The Numbers Speak: A Journey of Healing and Guidance Through Numbers, can help you transform and heal your inner self through the steadiest constant in the world: numbers.
The book incorporates exercises to balance your energy through your numerology core numbers, using color therapy, crystal healing, meditations, and affirmations. It takes you on my inner journey through the year 2020 and shows you how you can recognize and interpret the number’s messages spirit is placing in your path.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I took classes and became certified in energy healing, spiritual counseling, life coaching, numerology, and crystal healing. I started a metaphysical meetup group to hone my leadership skills and practice speaking in front of groups. I started giving free healings and readings, and when I became proficient, I started giving paid readings. Eventually, I put up a website and started participating in psychic and healing fairs.
