Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Bill Peterson. He is a Magician who performs a variety of magic, including mind-reading, interactive card magic, teleportation, illusions, and mentalism, for corporate events, fundraisers, and private functions. He also performs live-streaming, virtual interactive shows for the USA & Canada.
Please tell us about yourself.
I have spent the last 20 years traveling all over Florida, California, New York, Las Vegas, and Canada, learning some of the most powerful, interactive effects and exclusive routines in magic. I perform both close-up magic and interactive shows for a large variety of corporate events, fundraisers, private functions, and special occasions. I am excited to be doing Live-Streaming Virtual Magic shows all over the USA & Canada and sharing a variety of magic that is fun, shocking, and truly interactive with audience participation.
Please tell us more about your magic shows.
I originally performed live shows and walk around magic for a variety of events and occasions. When the pandemic hit and everything shut down, I took the time to put together amazing live-streaming virtual magic shows that were truly interactive. Because of social distancing and events being canceled, people are looking for safe ways to come together virtually and enjoy fun entertainment. This is fantastic for family, friends, & companies to interact and engage with each other for virtual cocktail parties, birthdays, anniversaries, staff parties, and special occasions. I even offer virtual magic shows for schools with the mission to improve the mental health and well-being of students from K-12 all over Canada and the USA!
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Experience accounts for a lot. Everyone would agree that they would rather have a surgeon that has performed the operation thousands of times vs. a few. Entertainment is also like that. Because I had so much experience performing magic, both close-up and on stage, for a huge variety of events, I was able to modify and develop virtual shows that look really good & professional and are truly interactive with audience participation. The magic I share with audiences is not childish but really astonishing for adults and kids.

Many people think Virtual shows can’t be as amazing, but I know from experience it can be. Imagine I ask you to think of a coin while holding my fist in front of you. You say “Quarter,” and I immediately open my hand to show you a Quarter! How did I know?…. Magic!
