Professional life
Quinto began his career by appearing in various television shows. His first role was in The Others, but then he got guest spots on series like CSI, Touched by an Angel, Charmed, Six Feet Under, and Lizzie McGuire.
Quinto played a recurring character on 24, appearing as Adam Kaufman, a computer expert, throughout season 3. In 2006, two big roles came Quinto’s way. He was cast as Sasan in So NoTORIous and also joined the cast of Heroes, playing Sylar. Sylar was a breakout character who earned a massive following despite being the villain. Quinto as Sylar would appear in the series for four seasons until 2010.
In 2007, it was announced that Quinto was cast as Spock in a reboot of the Star Trek film franchise. Quinto appeared opposite Nimoy, playing a young version of the character. In addition to the first film, Star Trek, he would return to the role for Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
In 2008, Quinto co-created Before the Door Pictures with Corey Moosa and Neal Dodson. The company would go on to produce various films, shorts, and graphic novels, like Margin Call, that premiered in 2011.
