Joshua Gomez is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of Morgan Grimes on the American action-comedy spy drama television series “Chuck,” which aired from September 24 until its finale on January 27. Joshua was one of the recurring members of the main cast. He starred alongside fellow actor Zachary Levi.

Early Career

Joshua is the youngest brother of two, his older brother, Rick Gomez, is an American actor, just like his younger brother, he has appeared in various films, television roles and lent his voice to many animated roles, as well, most widely known for starring in the Nickelodeon TV series “The Adventures of Pete and Pete, as well as portraying Radio Technician 4th Grade George Luz on HBO’s miniseries “Band of Brothers.”
Joshua Gomez has had a recurring role in the CBS series “Without a Trace,” where he plays a computer techy by the name of James Mackeroy. He’s well-liked by the fans for his portrayal of the character.
Some of his other works also include appearing in a commercial for IBM, a commercial for Garmin, and a series of Wendy’s commercials where he plays Ranch Tooth. Joshua also had a brief but memorable appearance at the beginning of BioShock, the videogame, where he played Johnny.

Before Joshua became a famous celebrity, he was actually in an episode of Law & Order, well before his career as an actor had taken off, which most of his fans are clueless too.
Other trivia: He has also appeared in a role of a computer tech specialist, James Mackey, on the television series “Without a Trace.”

Starring in Chuck

Then came Joshua’s breakout role, when he appeared as the titular character Morgan Grimes in NBC’s “Chuck,” which made its debut in September 2007. Fun fact– Joshua is actually real-life friends with his fellow co-star Zachary Levi. They bonded through filming and, after the series wrapped up, stayed very close friends to this day. Both of them have expressed that working together was a blast and their chemistry came naturally and effortlessly. Joshua has even been nominated for Outstanding Male Performance in the Comedy Teleiviosn Series at the 2008 ALMA Award. Although he didn’t win the award, the nomination itself speaks volumes.
His latest role has been in the TV series “Lucifer” where he played Neil Berger in the episode “The Last Heartbreak.”
