In 1983, Ed Harris married the actress Amy Madigan. They met during the filming of Places in the Heart. In 1993, their daughter Lily Dolores was born.

Professional Life

The actor started his career in the 70s. He originally appeared on stage in plays like Balaam and Kingdom of Earth. Between the mid-70s and the mid-80s, Harris started acting on television as well. He would appear in series like Gibbsville, Delvecchio, The Rockford Files, David Cassidy – Man Undercover, Barnaby Jones, Paris, Lou Grant, Hart to Hart, and American Playhouse.
